Reports Suggest Stuart Baxter Has Been Fired by Kaizer Chiefs! This follows a string of very underwhelming results by the club.

It has emerged that Stuart Baxter has been fired by Kaizer Chiefs. The Soweto Giants are yet to confirm the stunning news.

The Scot was hired at the end of the last campaign to replace Gavin Hunt. This was meant to be the rebirth of Kaizer Chiefs; however, it just did not happen.

After their 1-year transfer ban sanctioned by FIFA, they were finally able to buy player’s last season. This saw several quality players join the club.

This included the likes of Keagan Dolly, Njabulo Ngcobo, Kgaogelo Sekgota, Sibusiso Mabiliso and much more. Kaizer Motaung also added former Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki to the technical team.

Together, these men were supposed to challenge Mamelodi Sundowns to the league title this season. However, they are struggling to even finish in a CAF Champions League position this season.

So, reports suggest the club is fed up with the Scottish coach. Their last match saw them lose 1-0 to SuperSport United at the FNB Stadium.

After the match, Baxter told reporters that he is the only coach to bring success to the club over the past 20 years, so everyone needs to be patient with him.

Should the news be true, he will be the third sacking in three consecutive seasons for Amakhosi. Following Ernst Middendorp and assistant Shaun Bartlett and then Gavin Hunt last season.
