Haashim Domingo to Spend Time with His Wife during International Break! The Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder has enjoyed a serene break from domestic football.

Haashim Domingo has used to international break to relax and spend time with his family. This is a welcome break, when the hectic football schedule is considered.

The young man is a newlywed and is still enjoying every second of married life.

“During international breaks I like to put my feet up and relax and spend some quality time with my wife.” He said to the Mamelodi Sundowns website.

“I maintain my fitness during this time as well.”

Domingo has enjoyed a solid start to the campaign for Masandawana. He has featured much more often than in the previous campaign.

This is his second season at Chloorkop. This means that his understanding of his role and tactics at the club has immensely increased.

The club has not conceded a single goal in the first six matches of the season. They have accumulated 16 points from a possible 18.

It is with no surprise that they sit comfortably on top of the league table.

“We are preparing mentally for this period as we know it won’t be easy. The nice thing is that we have depth in the squad.

“We have lots of quality. So we will be prepared for the hectic schedule.” He also said.

After the international break, the Brazilians will have the MTN 8 final to contest. This will be followed by the beginning of this season’s CAF Champions League campaign.

This season, they will also have their women’s team competing in the CAF Champions League.

“It’s huge to have both teams in the Champions League, it just sets the tone for the type of club we have. We strive for greatness not only locally but internationally.” He concluded.
